Abstract

The Quang Yen radish variety has some outstanding advantages such as the time from sowing to harvest is 110-115 days, strong leaves set with 12-13 leaves. Tubers are oblong, with fewer eyes and rootlets. The tuber flesh is white, smooth and delicious, the diameter of the tuber is about 3.5 cm, the average weight of the tuber is 178-182 g, the flowers are light purple, the seeds are reddish-brown, the variety can be planted almost all year round. The variety has fewer pests and diseases and it can grow under unfavorable conditions such as lack of water, less fertilizer. Radish can be grown in the late season and still give good harvest yield and late flowering. Applying the population selection method for cross-pollination plants in 4 crop seasons in Quang Yen - Quang Ninh and Moc Chau - Son La from 2017 - 2019 has restored the Quang Yen radish variety, which is genetically stable, grows well, well resistant to pests and diseases. The results have restored original varieties with many outstanding features contributing to expanding production in Quang Yen, Quang Ninh.

Giống Cải củ hạt ươm Quảng Yên đã phục tráng có một số ưu điểm nổi trội là có thời gian từ khi gieo đến khi thu hạt là 110-115 ngày, số lá khoảng 12-13 lá, bộ lá khỏe, củ có dạng thuôn nhọn, số mắt củ ít, thịt củ trắng mịn ngon, rễ con nhỏ, vai củ trắng, đường kính củ khoảng 3,5 cm, khối lượng củ trung bình 178-182 g, hoa màu tím nhạt, hạt màu nâu đỏ, có thể trồng gần như quanh năm. Cải củ hạt ươm Quảng Yên ít bị sâu bệnh và sinh trưởng được ở điều kiện bất thuận như thiếu nước, ít phân, có thể trồng ở vụ muộn vẫn cho thu hoạch tốt và ra hoa muộn. Áp dụng phương pháp chọn lọc quần thể với 4 vụ chọn lọc tại Quảng Yên, Quảng Ninh và Mộc Châu, Sơn La từ 2017 – 2019 đã phục tráng giống cải củ hạt ươm Quảng Yên ổn định về mặt di truyền, sinh trưởng tốt, chống chịu sâu bệnh khá. Kết quả đã khôi phục được giống gốc với nhiều đặc điểm vượt trội góp phần phát triển sản xuất tại Quảng Yên, Quảng Ninh.
