HÀM LƯỢNG FUCOIDAN VÀ ALGINATE CỦA MỘT SỐ LOÀI RONG NÂU Ở QUẦN ĐẢO NAM DU, KIÊN GIANG

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the changes in fucoidan and alginate contents of some brown seaweed species from Nam Du archipelago, the sea of Kien Giang. The results showed that the fucoidan and alginate contents are varied depend on species, growth period and seasons. By the dry algae, the highest fucoidan and contents at the end of the dry season (in March) for brown seaweed species T. ornata (2.39% and 26.3%, respectively) and the S. Polycystum (2.04% and 28.6%, respectively). However, the highest fucoidan and alginate contents of T. decurrens algae in the beginning rainy season (in May) were 2.89% and 31.16%, respectively.

Nghiên cứu này nhằm đánh giá sự biến đổi hàm lượng fucoidan và hàm lượng alginate có trong một số loài rong nâu ở quần đảo Nam Du, Kiên Giang. Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy hàm lượng fucoidan và alginate có sự biến đổi tùy thuộc vào giống loài, thời kỳ sinh trưởng và theo mùa. So với khối lượng rong khô, hàm lượng fucoidan và alginate cao nhất vào cuối mùa khô (tháng 3) ở loài  rong Turbinaria ornata (tương ứng là 2,39% và 26,3%) và loài rong Sagrassum polycystum (tương ứng là 2,04% và 28,6%). Tuy nhiên đối với loài rong Turbinaria decurrens thì hàm lượng fucoidan và alginate cao nhất vào đầu mùa mưa (tháng 5) tương ứng 2,89% và 31,16%.
