This study evaluated the effects of different types of food (copepod, artemia and commercial food) on growth performance and survival rate of spotted scat juvenile (Scatophagus argus Linnaeus, 1766) at 21 to 50 day of age. The experiment was conducted in three replicates with three treatments (Copepoda, Artemia and commercial feed INVE N5/8 (TACN)) by using CRD method for experimental design. The results indicated that the used food had significant influence on the growth performance of Spotted Scat juvenile (p<0.05). In particularly, the growth performance in weight of juveniles were fed by copepoda and artemia were significantly higher than that of commercial food with 0.028, 0.07 and 0.024 g/day (daily growth rate) and 6.562, 6.486 and 6.020%/day (specific growth rate), respectively. A similar trend was observed on growth performance in lengh. The lengh of juvenile increased 0.053, 0.048 and 0.044 cm/day (daily growth rate) and 2.977, 2.751, 2.285 %/day when fish were fed by Copepoda, Artemia and commercial food, respectively. However, the result of data analysis indicated that there was no significant differences dectected in length performance between copepda and artemia treatments, and artemia and commercial food treatments (p>0.05). The growth rate of juveniles at 21 to 50 days of age was high with > 90% and there was no significant differences in the survival rate of juvenile among treatments (p>0.05).
