Abstract

This article provides some assessments on the current status of using chemicals and antibiotics in intensive pangasius farming in 3 provinces, city of Can Tho, An Giang, Dong Thap and the level of chemical and antibiotic residues in the environment. The results of the investigation have shown that farming facilities using antibiotics in pangasius farming are very popular and diverse in types, there are at least 10 types of antibiotics used by farming households and the most common is Doxycyline (An Giang province 40%, Dong Thap province 26.7%, Can Tho city 63.3%), followed by veterinary drugs containing the active ingredients Sufamethoxazole and Trimethoprime are used in all 3 localities. Besides, there are also many types of environmental treatment chemicals and supplements used throughout the farming process. Regarding the quality of the pond environment, the environmental indicators in the pond water are all within allowable limits; It was discovered that in pond sludge there were residues of pesticide chemicals (Cypermethrin) and residues of antibiotics Oxytetracycline and Doxycycline in all 3 provinces.

Bài viết này cung cấp một số đánh giá về hiện trạng sử dụng các loại hóa chất, kháng sinh trong nuôi cá tra thâm canh tại 3 tỉnh: Cần Thơ, An Giang, Đồng Tháp và mức độ tồn lưu hóa chất, kháng sinh trong môi trường. Kết quả điều tra đã ghi nhận các cơ sở nuôi sử dụng kháng sinh trong nuôi cá tra rất phổ biến và đa dạng về chủng loại, có tới ít nhất 10 loại kháng sinh được hộ nuôi sử dụng và phổ biến nhất là Doxycyline (tỉnh An Giang 40%, Đồng Tháp 26,7%, thành phố Cần Thơ 63,3%), tiếp đến là các thuốc thú y có chứa các hoạt chất Sufamethoxazole, Trimethoprime được dùng ở cả 3 địa phương. Bên cạnh đó cũng ghi nhận rất nhiều loại hóa chất xử lý môi trường, chất bổ sung được sử dụng trong suốt quá trình nuôi. Về chất lượng môi trường ao nuôi, trong nước ao nuôi các chỉ tiêu về môi trường đều nằm trong giới hạn cho phép; phát hiện trong bùn ao nuôi có tồn lưu dư lượng hóa chất thuốc bảo vệ thực vật (Cypermethrin) và dư lượng kháng sinh Oxytetracycline và Doxycycline ở cả 3 tỉnh.
