Thành phần hợp chất, hiệu quả xua đuổi của tinh dầu tía tô Perilla frutescens (L.) Britt. đối với Bọ hà khoai lang, Cylas formicarius (F.) (Coleoptera: Brentidae)

Abstract

This study was carried out to evaluate the repellency of P. frutescens essential oils against sweet potato weevil. The chemical composition of Perilla essential oil in Sơn La was determined by the Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC/MS) analysis method, including twenty-four different components exist in the essential oil of P. frutescens. The main components of the essential oil were Perilla aldehyde (47,38%), Limonene (23,46%), Caryophyllene (6,57%), Caryophyllene oxide (3,98%), Linalool (3,45%). The repellent effects of P. frutescens essential oils against the sweet potato weevil were evaluated by using a Y-tube olfactometer system. The results showed that P. frutescens essential oil exhibited high repellency against the sweet potato weevil. P. frutescens essential oil displayed the highest repellency at the concentration of 2 µl (the repellent efficiency was 87,5% for male and 81,0% for female). The results showed the potential of the essential oils for use in the integrated management of the sweet potato weevil.

Nghiên cứu được thực hiện nhằm đánh giá hiệu quả xua đuổi bọ hà khoai lang của tinh dầu tía tô. Thành phần hóa học của tinh dầu tía tô (P. frutescens) tại tỉnh Sơn La được xác định bằng phương pháp phân tích sắc ký khí ghép khối phổ (GC/MS) gồm 24 hợp chất (91,81%). Thành phần chính của tinh dầu tía tô là Perilla aldehyde (47,38%), Limonene (23,46%), Caryophyllene (6,57%), Caryophyllene oxide (3,98%), Linalool (3,45%). Phương pháp sử dụng hệ thống ống chữ Y (tube olfactometer) để đánh giá hiệu quả xua đuổi của tinh dầu tía tô đối với bọ hà khoai lang. Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy, tinh dầu tía tô cho hiệu quả xua đuổi cao đối với bọ hà khoai lang. Hiệu quả xua đuổi bọ hà khoai lang phụ thuộc vào nồng độ tinh dầu. Tinh dầu tía tô cho hiệu quả xua đuổi bọ hà khoai lang cao nhất ở nồng độ 2 µl với hiệu quả xua đuổi là 87,5% (con đực) và 81,0% (con cái). Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy, tiềm năng của tinh dầu tía tô để sử dụng trong quản lý tổng hợp bọ hà khoai lang.
