Guidelines for Manuscript Preparation and Submission

The Journal of Agriculture and Environment publishes original scientific articles presenting novel research findings, as well as comprehensive review articles in the fields of agriculture and environment. Submitted manuscripts must not have been previously published or submitted for publication in any other form of media.

Manuscripts may be written in either Vietnamese (to be published in the Vietnamese-language edition) or English (to be published in the English-language edition). Articles must be prepared using a word processor, in Times New Roman font, size 12, with line spacing set to 1.2 (Paragraph → Line Spacing → Multiple at 1.2), and should not exceed 10 A4 pages, including references.

Keywords should be listed alphabetically, with 3 to 5 terms provided. The Vietnamese and English keywords must convey the same meaning.

The abstract must not exceed 350 words, written as a single paragraph without line breaks, in font size 10. It should briefly state the purpose, methodology, and key findings of the study. Articles written in Vietnamese must include abstracts in both Vietnamese and English with consistent content and meaning.

Manuscripts should be organized in the following order:

  • Title in both Vietnamese and English
  • Author name(s)
  • Institutional affiliation(s)
  • Abstract
  • Keywords
  • Main content
  • Acknowledgments (if any)
  • References

The corresponding author must be clearly identified on the first page of the manuscript, along with their institutional address, email, and phone number. Vietnamese proper names must include full tonal marks, even in English-language articles.

References must be numbered in the order in which they appear in the manuscript and listed accordingly in the reference section using square brackets [ ].

  • For journal articles: Author(s), year of publication, article title, journal name, volume, issue, and page numbers.
  • For books: Author(s), year of publication, book title, publisher, and place of publication.

For articles written in English, any references not originally in English must be translated into English, with the original language indicated in parentheses.
